One night I was sitting around the fire at guide camp after a long day on the river, chatting about life. The moon was out in full, bright and powerful. someone mentioned Mars and wondered, as many have, if there is water, or even life, on Mars. . What about rafting on Mars?The Martians would be great guides, we reckoned.“Rafting on Mars” has since become a series. Alien life and rafting?  I could not think of a more exciting duo.
